One of the hardest working Australian bands of modern times, Cog have been on well deserved hiatus after twelve years of solid touring. Since their inception in 1998, the trio have released multiple EP’s, singles, DVD’s and two studio LP’s, 2004’s ‘The New Normal’, and 2007’s ‘Sharing Space’, which debuted at #2 on the ARIA charts.

Sydney three-piece Cog’s second full-length album is brilliant.”****1/2Adelaide Advertiser

The band have built a vast and fiercely loyal fan base thanks to their epic live shows and constant touring through regional areas of Australia, that a lot of other bands overlook. Cog graced the stages at some of Australia’s most respected festivals like The Big Day Out, The Falls Festival and more, and headlined the legendary One Night Stand in Collie for triple J.

“Elements of primal groove, technical precision, brooding anger and bold affirmation were perfectly intertwined, meaning that the novelty never faltered and a refreshing change of pace was always around the corner. Heartfelt’ is definitely the key word, too, with every nuance of the band’s body language speaking volumes about the passion.” Beat Magazine
