In honour of diversity and the many cultures we have in our kitchen, we are holding an International Chefs Day on Thursday 20 October to celebrate!
Through a 7 Course degustation, travel around the world and experience dishes from Lao, Vietnam, China, Spain and many more!
Menu
First Course l Destination India/Nepal
Pani Puri, fried dough balls stuffed with potatoes and spicy tangy water
Momo, Nepalese vegetable dumplings served with tomato chutney
Second Course l Destination Samoa
Kingfish Oka, raw kingfish in a coconut dressing with cucumber, onions and tomato
Third Course l Destination Indonesia
Kampak Bakar Jimbaran, grilled scallops topped with Jimbaran style sambal and pickled cucumber
Fourth Course l Destination Laos
Hor Mok, salmon marinaded in curry paste and herbs, grilled in banana leaves, served with sticky rice
Fifth Course l Destination Northern China
Cong Dao Yang Pai, fried lamb ribs in cumin spice mix and shallots
Sixth Course l Destination Vietnam
Bun Cha, grilled pork patties, pork belly, vermicelli noodles, fresh herbs, fish sauce dressing
Seventh Course l Destination Spain/Greece
Churros, fried dough in cinnamon sugar
Galaktoboureko, semolina custard baked in filo pastry
Beverage Package
East India, brandy, orange curacao, pineapple juice, angostura
Served with first and second courses
Kaffia Lime Gimlet, gin, house made kaffia liqueur, lime juice, demerara syrup
Served with third and fourth courses
Chinese Whisper, vodka, lychee liqueur, lime, ginger syrup, fresh ginger
Served with fifth and sixth courses
Spanish Hot Chocolate
Served with seventh course
The International Chefs Day menu is available for one night only.
Doors open at 6.00pm for a 6.30pm service.
