International Women’s Day 2024

Revesby Workers’ is thrilled to share the remarkable success of our recent International Women’s Day event at Miss Iggy’s!

Together with our amazing community, we’ve achieved an incredible outcome for Biyani House Women’s Shelter, raising $24730.31! This marks our largest donation yet from our #IWD2024 fundraising efforts. Thank you to everyone who contributed, from our partners and sponsors to every attendee who made this possible.

These funds will significantly aid Biyani House’s ongoing mission to provide essential short-term emergency accommodation and support, empowering homeless women to rebuild their lives in a safe environment.

School Cheque Presentation 2024

The Revesby Workers’ School Subsidy program began in 1986 with an allocation of $11,000 distributed among 22 local schools. Over the years, the program has grown significantly to support 28 local schools and since its inception, the program has provided over $2.1 million in funding. This year, the program’s structure has been adjusted to enable schools to apply for additional funding, allowing the schools to undertake more substantial projects.

We congratulate the 14 local schools that were awarded grants, our total school subsidy donation exceeded $65,500.00 this year to support valuable initiatives aimed at enhancing educational programs including new music, exercise and learning initiatives to empower students within our local community.
