Payroll Officer

Are you a detail-oriented payroll professional who thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment? We have an exciting part-time opportunity (3–4 days per week, including Wednesdays) for an experienced Payroll Officer to take ownership of the role while being backed by a close-knit and positive People & Culture team of six.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing our weekly payroll for approximately 350 staff, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Reporting to the Executive Manager – People & Culture, you’ll be instrumental in delivering a seamless payroll experience. For the right candidate growth and development opportunities are available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end payroll processing – manage weekly payroll, terminations, new starters, overtime, and data entry
  • Interpret awards & EBAs to ensure compliance with payroll processing
  • Payroll software management – maintain & troubleshoot the Definitiv system, liaising with customer support as needed
  • Payroll reporting & compliance – collaborate with finance for EOM reporting, payroll tax, union fees, and board reports
  • Process Workers’ Compensation payments & reconciliation
  • Superannuation, EOFY processing, and Centrelink payments (e.g., parental leave)
  • Perform regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Onboard new employees and manage payroll administration tasks
  • Contribute to WGEA reporting and general payroll-related reporting

Who You Are:

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Minimum 2+ years experience in payroll processing
  • Experience with Definitiv or similar payroll software
  • Intermediate Excel skills and the ability to generate reports
  • A problem-solving mindset – proactive in identifying and resolving issues

Assistant Greenkeeper/Groundsman

Revesby Workers’ Club, a leading name in entertainment and hospitality, is looking for a Part Time Assistant Greenkeeper/Groundsman with potential to Full Time to help maintain our high-quality outdoor spaces. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional with experience in grounds and greens maintenance, who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Maintaining bowling greens, gardens, and outdoor areas to a high standard
  • Operating and maintaining horticultural equipment and machinery
  • Lawn mowing, edging, fertiliser application & general groundskeeping
  • Learning and applying greenkeeping skills, including the use of cylinder mowers & rollers
  • Working early morning shifts, including Saturdays and occasional Sundays
  • Ensuring compliance with WHS and safe handling of chemicals/pesticides

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in grounds maintenance (bowling greens experience is a plus!)
  • Strong work ethic & ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Excellent communication skills & ability to follow instructions
  • Willingness to learn and upskill in greenkeeping techniques
  • Understanding of safe manual handling and WHS principles
  • General handyman duties would be desirable

Cook, Chef & Kitchen Hand roles

We are offering Full-time positions however Part time may be considered for the right candidate to work at either of our locations at Revesby Workers Club (located South-West Sydney) and Mooney Mooney Club (located Central Coast region)

In the role of Cook we are looking for:

  • Experienced or ability to work with bulk cookery, salad preparation and working to a timeframe

  • Good communication skills and organisational skills
  • A good knowledge of hygiene and WHS practices
  • Possess a sound work ethic, honesty and the ability to work well as part of a team

In the role of Chef we are looking for:

  • Accomplished all-rounder, able to do all sections in all outlets (such as bistro, café, pizza, Vietnamese, functions just to name a few)
  • An ability to work unsupervised and with direction
  • Work closely with senior chefs regarding menus, rostering, budgets
  • A passion to learn but to also train junior chefs
  • Capability to perform in a fast paced and high-volume kitchen
  • Can lead the kitchen departments to deliver quality food and service
  • Possess a trade Qualification in Commercial Cookery
  • Experience cooking for a minimum of 3 years
  • Ensuring strict stock rotation and minimum wastage
  • Must example confident knife handling skills
  • Able to work a 5-day roster week with 2 days off with a mix of mornings to late nights, public holidays and weekends
  • Ability to be a team player and help in other roles in the kitchen i.e kitchen hand when needed
  • Ability to work in open kitchens

In the role as Kitchen Hand you will:

  • Be able to work safely with minimal supervision.
  • Be able to work as part of a team.
  • Be willing, a quick learner and be well-presented;
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment;
