The Revesby Workers’ community takes pride in recognising the diversity of the many members that achieve great success in areas of sport, career or personal goals.
The Revesby Workers’ community, APL and 888PL extends a big congratulations to three Revesby Workers’ members who did exceptionally well at the Main Event IV held in April at The Star, Sydney.
The Australian Poker League (APL) competitors who often play at Revesby Workers’ went head to head with hundreds of other poker players at the event, which resulted in great success. The highest finishing female player, Mele Poulivaati was placed thirteen and won $3,800 followed by Seba Challita who came in at tenth place collecting $7,500 in prize money. In second place, Revesby Workers’ Roni Naiem won $65,000 however was no match for the ultimate winner Chris Moussa.
Mr Chris Moussa, who started playing poker at Revesby Workers’ almost ten years ago, was a cut above the rest of the 426 competitors. He came out on top to improve NSW dominance of this prestigious event that was held outside of Melbourne for the very first time. After three days of great play, Chris Moussa edged out Roni Naiem in an intense battle that saw Chris walk away with $100,000 cash and prizes, including the coveted Main Event bracelet.
Australian Poker League Manager, Con Valassis, was ecstatic to see Revesby Workers’ members participating and winning in the Main Event at The Star, Sydney.

The Revesby Workers’ Club community would also like to congratulate Elise Brown who came second in the APL State Champs in April which was held at Revesby Workers. A final congratulation goes to Kon Kapsalis who was placed second in the World Series of Poker Playoffs in June winning cash and a $7,000 package to play poker in the World Series Of Poker in Las Vegas.
