CEO Report: May 2015
I’m pleased to report that we have had an outstanding response to the opening of the Revesby Village Centre with a huge reaction from the local community.
The Revesby Village Centre is now trading with Coles supermarket, Liquorland, Select Mutual Banking, Pearl Nails, Smartphones Hospital, Hair Crew Studio and twotwo//onetwo caf. on Ground Level and AMF and Carnival Kingdom on Level 2.
To mark this extraordinary achievement in the club’s history, there will be an official opening of the Revesby Village Centre held on Saturday 9 May 2015. I wish to extend a warm invitation to all members, friends and family to join the club in this monumental event.
Construction work continued following the Revesby Village Centre opening in February with the development of the new Brett Street Foyer, which opened in March. The new foyer will provide a walkway between Revesby Workers’ Club and Revesby Village Centre ensuring easy access for patrons between both areas.
Another significant announcement is the development of the new History Display for the Club which will be located inside the entrance of the club, opposite the hairdressers. The new History Display will be presented in a timeline fashion displaying the club’s history and achievements over the fifty plus years of Revesby Workers’ Club.
Amid the developments, it was with much sadness that I heard of the passing of Patrick Rogan, who was laid to rest Tuesday 17 February 2015. Patrick was instrumental in setting the long term strategic plan for the Club, guaranteeing the Club’s success. He was very well respected by the Board, Management and our club members and will be missed.
As always, thank you for your patience and ongoing patronage as we continue to build a better club for all.
