Amongst all the wackiest cars and competitors Revesby Workers’ Club stood proud!
Revesby Workers’ Club donated $25,000 to George Bass School and the Variety Club at the Variety Club’s 2015 Dick Smith Bass Hill to Bunbury Bash.
The Bash saw wacky and wonderfully different cars participate in the event travelling over 45,000 kilometres to Western Australia.
Director, Dennis Haywood from Revesby Workers’ Club was pleased to present the new bus to the George Bass School and local community.
George Bass School opened in 2014 and is a new school located in Bass Hill that assists handicapped children within the community. The school provides specialised facilities designed to support students and provide a range of learning experiences in a safe environment.
A strong P&C committee has been raising funds to improve standards at the school and the donation from Revesby Workers’ Club will go a long way within the school community.
The bus will be a valuable addition to the school allowing the children to travel from place to place in comfort and style.
