Remembrance Day 2018

On Sunday 11 November we marked the 100th Anniversary of the Armistice which ended the First World War (1914-1918)

A warm spring day greeted the crowd, which gathered at the Cenotaph for the 11am Service. It was great to see the local community commemorating this event which is a solemn occasion and a time to reflect on the sacrifices made, so that we can enjoy the lives that we lead today.
