International Women’s Day #IWD2026 #BalanceTheScales #GiveToGain
Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated.
Let’s Balance the Scales with a promise that every woman and girl – regardless of background or identity – should be safe, heard, and free to shape their own lives. In 2026, too many across Australia and the world are still denied that fair go. Discriminatory laws, policies, and practices persist. Gender-based violence remains widespread, and structural barriers block too many from seeking or receiving justice.
These barriers are not inevitable. They are built – and they can be dismantled.
When women and girls stand equal, families are stronger, workplaces are fairer, communities thrive, and society becomes safer for everyone.
This International Women’s Day, let’s Balance the Scales together.
This annual fundraising event supports Biyani House – Revesby Women’s Shelter. Every dollar raised goes directly to the shelter supporting its commitment to creating a place of safety, care, and hope for women and children affected by domestic violence in our community.
Held in our Whitlam Theatre, this International Women’s Day (IWD) event provides attendees with an inspiring and engaging experience. Guests will have the opportunity to connect and network with like-minded individuals while hearing from an impressive lineup of speakers representing a diverse range of backgrounds, industries, and experiences.
Your ticket includes an all-inclusive 3-course sit-down lunch complimented by a premium beverage package. You’ll enjoy vibrant live DJ entertainment throughout the event, plus a range of fundraising activities, including a Raffle full of fantastic prizes.
