Current COVID restrictions effective from 12.01am Friday 18 February 2022 are as follows;
- Area capacity limits NO longer apply for indoor areas.
- QR Code Check-In is NO longer required for entry.
- Singing and dancing is NOW permitted indoors.
Face Masks will remain mandatory in all public indoor venues until Friday 25 February 2022.
Updated Restrictions | Effective Thursday 27 January 2022
Current settings will continue from Thursday, 27 January 2022 until Monday, 28 February 2022, including:
- Hospitality venues, including pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafes, and nightclubs must follow the one person per two square metre rule indoors;
- Masks are required in all indoor settings (except residences). Masks are strongly encouraged where you cannot maintain a safe distance from others;
- QR code check-ins are compulsory at certain premises, including hospitality venues and retail shops;
- Singing and dancing is not permitted in hospitality venues, entertainment facilities, nightclubs, indoor music festivals and indoor major recreation facilities (except for weddings, performers, instructors and students).

The following NSW Government restrictions will apply when visiting the Club from

All restrictions from 15 December remain in place except for the following;
- Masks MUST be worn by ALL patrons and staff in INDOOR areas.
The following NSW Government restrictions will apply when visiting the Club from
Monday 27 December 2021;
All restrictions from 15 December remain in place except for the following;
- Masks MUST be worn by ALL patrons and staff in INDOOR areas.
- ALL INDOOR areas will operate under a 1 Person per 2 square metre rule.
Both of these updated restrictions will remain in place until at least Thursday 27 January 2022.
Updated Restrictions | Effective Wednesday 15 December 2021
The following NSW Government restrictions will apply when visiting the Club from Wednesday 15 December 2021;
- Proof of Vaccination is NO longer required for entry into the Club.
- All patrons MUST continue to Check-In via Service NSW COVID Safe Check-In
- Masks are NOT required for patrons. However, strongly encouraged where social distancing isn’t possible.
- Masks MUST be worn by Hospitality Venue Staff who are not fully vaccinated.
- Drinking alcohol indoors and outdoors may be seated or standing.
- Singing and dancing is permitted indoors and outdoors.
- Area capacity limits NO longer apply for indoor and outdoor areas.
COVID Marshals will be present to ensure patrons are adhering to these restrictions and that hand sanitiser stations remain well stocked and heavy use public touch points are regularly sanitised.

- All patrons MUST be fully vaccinated or have a medical exemption.
- All patrons MUST wear masks inside the venue, if they are not eating or drinking.
- Masks MUST be worn by Hospitality Venue Staff at all times.
- Drinking alcohol while standing is NOW permitted inside
- Dancing is NOW permitted
- Singing is NOT permitted, except for performers
Area capacity limits of one (1) person per two (2) square metres applies for indoor and outdoor areas.
COVID Marshals will be present to ensure patrons are adhering to these restrictions and that hand sanitiser stations remain well stocked and heavy use public touch points are regularly sanitised.
Getting Your COVID-19 Vaccination Record Just Got Easier | Friday 15 October 2021
You can now integrate your COVID-19 digital vaccination certificate on to the Service NSW app. This makes checking in and showing your vaccination record easier and quicker.
How to get it; Please make sure that you update your Services NSW App before attempting to link your accounts!
- Ensure your Federal MyGov account is linked to Medicare
- Download the Express Plus Medicare app and sign in with your MyGov account details
- Select ‘Proof of vaccinations’ and then ‘View history’
- Select ‘Share with check in app’ and then ‘Service NSW’

To all our Members and Guests,
The NSW Government has announced that the Greater Sydney lockdown period will conclude at the end of this week and we are pleased to confirm that we will be opening our doors at 9.00am on Monday 11 October.
Whilst we can’t wait to welcome all our members and guests back into the Club, there is some important information to note.
The health and safety of our members, guests and employees is of the utmost importance and we are committed to doing everything we can to continue to make our venues safe places to visit.

What you’ll need for entry into the Club;
1. Face Masks mandatory in all public indoor venues
2. A financial Membership Card for members, or a Drivers Licence for guests
3. COVID-19 Vaccination Record or Medical Exemption. This can be verified a couple of ways;
- Express Plus Medicare App
- Medicare Account via My Gov
- Australian Immunisation History Statement
- My Health Record via My Gov
- Medical Exemption Statement

Please note non-vaccinated young people aged under 16 will only be able to visit the Club with members of their household.
4. Check In via the Service NSW COVID Safe Check-In. COVID Safe Check In can be done in two (2) ways;
- Use the QR Code displayed in the Car Park or Club Entry (Smartphone Users)
- Use the Tablet at Club Reception (Non-Smartphone Users)

Greater Sydney, Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Wollongong In Lockdown | 26 June 2021
The NSW Government’s announcement today has expanded the current lockdown to Greater Sydney, Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Wollongong, effective from 6pm Saturday 26 June until 11.59pm Friday 9 July 2021.
The Club will be closed during this time and all scheduled events and activities cancelled until the lockdown concludes. Please note that all ticket holders for Flashback Fridays and Akmal will be contacted directly from Monday 28 June.
Points Purge that was scheduled for Wednesday 30 June has been cancelled. The Club will not purge any points this year, meaning all points will roll on until the purge in 2022.

Please note the following restrictions to be enforced from 4pm Wednesday 23 June 2021 – 12.01am Thursday 01 July 2021
The NSW Governments announcement today to enforce even further restrictions across Greater Sydney means the following changes will apply from 4pm today, Wednesday 23 June 2021.
- All patrons MUST wear masks inside the venue, if they are not eating or drinking
- Masks MUST be worn by Hospitality Venue Staff
- Drinking while standing is NOT permitted
- Dancing and Singing is NOT permitted
Area capacity limits of one (1) person per four (4) square metres now apply and must be adhered to. COVID Marshals will be present to ensure patrons are adhering to the latest restrictions.
NOTE: In response to the above-mentioned restrictions the Live Music Duo for this Saturday 26 June has been CANCELLED.
All other events within the Club will proceed as planned in accordance with COVID restrictions.

- Mothers’ Day will remain unchanged. Sunday 09 May
- Covid marshals will be making sure that patrons are adhering to the latest restrictions
Easing Of Restrictions | 25 March 2021
The NSW Governments announcement yesterday to further ease COVID-19 restrictions means the following changes will apply from Monday 29 March 2021.
- Dancing will now be permitted, allowing our members and guests to now use the dancefloor in the Presidents Lounge.
- Live indoor entertainment venues with assigned ticketed seating will increase capacity numbers back to 100%. This means the Whitlam Theatre will be able to increase its capacity for shows back to 750 people.
Please note that all area capacity limits of one (1) person per two (2) square metres still apply and must be adhered to.
There have already been a number of calls regarding this news and over the next few days we will provide you with further information relating to Presidents Lounge entertainment.
Face Masks No Longer Mandatory | 12 February 2021
The NSW Government has lifted restrictions relating to Capacities and Face Masks, effective from 12.01am on Friday 12 February 2021.
This means;
- Area Capacities are now 1 person per 2 square metres
- Face Masks are NO longer mandatory in public indoor spaces
- Face Masks are NO longer mandatory for Staff
This also means that our larger shows in the Whitlam Theatre will increase in capacity. We thank everyone who acted responsibly during the Mandatory Face Mask restriction, but remind everyone that must still sign in via the MyGov app whenever entering the Club.
Face Masks Mandatory | 2 January 2021
The NSW Government has announced the following new restrictions, effective from midnight Saturday 2 January and enforceable from Monday 4 January.
- Face masks are mandatory in public indoor spaces, including; shopping centres, public transport, attending an entertainment venue, hair and beauty salons and gaming areas of establishments.
- Staff at hospitality venues, who deal directly with customers, will also be required to wear a mask.
- Gym classes will be restricted to 30 people, subject to the four square metre rule.
- Places of worship, weddings and funerals will be restricted to 100 people, subject to the four square metre rule.

You are encouraged to remain vigilant, look and monitor for flu like symptoms and get tested if you experience the slightest symptoms.

Continuing to Keep You COVID Safe | 21 December 2020
Our priority is the safety and wellbeing of our members, guests, staff and wider community. Throughout the year, we have gone above the NSW Health requirements to ensure a COVID Safe environment and we will continue to do so.
With some of the restrictions being reintroduced from midnight Sunday 20 December there will be some changes at the Club.
Capacity limitations (1 person per 4 square metres) apply within all lounge, dining and bar areas. You will see when visiting that furniture in each area has been adjusted to reflect this.
As a result of these restrictions, we would also like to advise our members:
- The New Year’s Eve event scheduled for 31 December has been cancelled
- Presidents Lounge entertainment is on hold until further notice due to restrictions on dancing
- Bingo and Cash Housie will continue as per published dates
- Group bookings will now be restricted to ten (10) people until further notice
Further to this, anyone who resides in or has visited the Northern Beaches in the last 14 days or has frequented any hotspots flagged by NSW Health will not be permitted entry into the Club. See full list here.
Below is a reminder of the COVID Safe policies and procedures in place
- Capacity limitations apply within all lounge, dining and bar areas.
- Each room has a clearly marked entry and exit, including where to stand when waiting to make a purchase.
- Hand sanitisers are located at club foyers, lifts and escalators, entrances to lounge and dining areas.
- Heavy use public touch points such as handrails, lift buttons and knobs are cleaned routinely throughout the day.
- Hard surfaces such as the club reception, outlet counters and dining tables will be wiped regularly and following each use.
- Cutlery and condiments have been individually packaged.
- All menus are available by screens or as in a hard-plastic sleeve that is wiped following each use.
- Contactless payments by card are encouraged.

The NSW Governments recent announcement to ease restrictions in the lead up to Christmas and New Year is greatly welcomed by the Club.
These changes are designed to give people greater certainty in how they can celebrate safely with family, friends and colleagues and we look forward to welcoming more of our members and guests back.
Whilst you can expect more freedom in accessing the Clubs services and facilities, we remain committed to maintaining a COVID Safe environment for our members, guests and staff to enjoy with confidence.
