Award For Iconic Partnership
Revesby Workers’ Club has taken out the award in the Health And Wellbeing Section of the Clubs NSW, Clubs And Community Awards for our “Iconic Partnership” with Icon Cancer Care.
Revesby Workers’ is dedicated to supporting, assisting and educating the local community by partnering with organisations such as, Icon Cancer Care, to ensure that everybody has access to critical, life-saving cancer treatment that is in “high need” in the Local Government Area. Revesby Workers’ and Icon Cancer Care have established an iconic partnership fostering a common mission of looking after those in the community that are in most need of cancer care.
Revesby Workers’ partnership with Icon Group was heavily influenced by the need to care for its aging and growing members and especially those in the community that have been diagnosed with cancer. As a Club, providing the space for a private cancer care facility has seen great benefits to the patients. These benefits include free parking at Revesby Workers’ Club, close to public transport including airport train line and use of the Club facilities such as various dining outlets, access to Revesby Village Centre shops and The Medical Centre.
We are extremely proud of this award, however more so what the Icon Cancer Care Centre brings to the local community and it’s Cancer patients.
